So it’s been about 11 days since my operation and I’m on the road to recovery.
These past few weeks have been a blessing in disguise really. Not only do I feel as though I am stronger in my body but most importantly my mind.
I feel so excited about the future and what it holds for me. The past week I created a massive Vision Board, with all my future goals and aspirations on it. It has made me feel more confident in what I want for my future and ways of getting there. I also bought a lot of books over the past few weeks and am taking 30 minutes out of every day to read more. I want to be able to share with you all the latest information and encourage you on your journey through fitness and health.
Life’s journey can take us through ups and unexpected downs, having the support of my wonderful friends and family has been so important and I thank you all so much, I couldn’t have do it without you.
So, what’s next for me?? LOTS…. I have some exciting news to share over the next few weeks and have some amazing new workouts, tips, video blogs, recipes etc.…. It’s all coming!!! I am also going to video my road to competing again, which I can’t wait to get started.
I want to leave you with this quote as I feel this has helped me a lot over the past few weeks, sometimes we focus too much on yesterday or tomorrow when really we should be focused on the moment….
“If you pay attention at every moment, you form a new relationship to time. In some magical way, by slowing down, you become more efficient, productive and energetic, focusing without distraction directly on the task in front of you. Not only do you become immersed in the moment, you become the moment.”
